Thanks for this investigation. Mimi took me to a party at Joan Larkin's. I still have a copy of Housework with her painting on the cover, somewhere. Stunning, it was. Mimi got a lot out of broadcasting for WBAI, and so did I. It was such a transformative time. I had a small child. A problem husband. Poetry was a code and coda.

Love this. “Poetry a code and coda.” And, yes, I think she’d have kept that job for a very long time if that had been an option. (She even tried to return in 1980.)
